Our founders


The Penny Group’s founders are Chartered Financial Planners who have been working together in the financial services industry since 2007. They have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience across all aspects of financial planning.

The business founders work with clients on a daily basis, over the years they have developed long lasting client relationships and helped many people meet their financial goals.

Our history

Our roots stem from London, the birthplace of the Penny Group. We were founded in 2010 with a belief that a deeper understanding of financial services was essential to offering the right bespoke advice.

Over the years we have successfully grown our business, reputation and service offering. Throughout our history, we’ve kept our focus on building relationships and providing a level of service that encourages our clients to recommend and refer us to others.

Today, we are responsible for over £600 million of Assets Under Management for clients who trust us to deliver returns.

2010

The Penny Group was founded in London and joined Openwork Limited increasing the service offering.

2014

A new mortgage service was established and a dedicated team created.

2016

Began acquiring other Openwork practices, ultimately increasing the client base.

2021

Awarded NMA Top 100 UK advice firm fourth year running. Assets Under Management exceeded £500M.
