Corporate Chartered Status renewal
The Penny Group has been awarded Corporate Chartered status for the 7th consecutive year
We are delighted to announce that The Penny Group has received formal confirmation of the renewal of our corporate ‘Chartered Financial Planners’ status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for the 7th successive year.
Chartered status is a symbol of technical competence and signifies a public commitment to professional standards. It helps to enhance the professionalism of the entire financial planning sector in the eyes of consumers, commentators, and the regulator.
The Chartered title is not awarded lightly by professional bodies, and brings with it a number of serious obligations. The title ‘Chartered Financial Planners’ is a public declaration that the advice given by The Penny Group:
- is of the highest quality
- is based solely on the researched needs of the customer
- is provided by someone not exceeding their level of competency.
All staff at the Penny Group are members of the CII, and therefore governed by a Code of Ethics. Where CII qualified, annual continuous professional development (CPD) must be undertaken, and disciplinary sanctions are applied to those who transgress.
The Penny Group will continue to ensure the above commitments are met in reinforcing the significance of belonging to a genuine, acknowledged profession.
