The Penny Group joins forces with The Felix Project
During the months of May and June, we took part in making a positive impact on the local community by participating in four corporate volunteer days with The Felix Project.
At the Penny Group, we firmly believe in forging meaningful partnerships with charities that extend beyond mere financial contributions. Our experience collaborating with The Felix Project has not only allowed us to create a tangible impact in our community but also foster personal growth and development.
The Felix Project is a London based charity that works tirelessly to tackle food waste and hunger in our community. By rescuing surplus food from supermarkets, wholesalers, and other food suppliers, The Felix Project redistributes it to vulnerable individuals and children, ensuring that no edible food goes to waste.
Dusi Raviendran, Senior Associate, Financial Planner, expressed, "Participating in the volunteer day with The Felix Project was an incredibly rewarding experience. It was heartwarming to see how our collective effort could make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need."
Through our four days of corporate volunteering, the Penny Group and its employees aim to inspire others to join the cause, raise awareness about food waste, and encourage support for The Felix Project's invaluable work.
Luke Neves, Associate, Financial Planner, stated "As a financial advice firm, we are committed to helping our community beyond just financial matters. Volunteering with The Felix Project allowed us to contribute in a meaningful way and demonstrate our values in action."
