About Lorna
With more than 40 years of experience in financial services, I am the Operations & Business Assurance Manager at The Penny Group. In this role, I oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of the Academy programme, fostering the growth of new talent joining our business. Additional responsibilities include managing key operational areas including recruitment, HR, colleague well-being, personal growth, and performance management.
A core element of my role is Business Assurance, where I draw on my extensive experience in quality oversight to ensure that our processes, services, and adviser practices consistently meet the highest standards. This focus enables us to deliver excellent outcomes for our clients while supporting compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
I am passionate about guiding the next generation of advisers, helping them develop the skills and knowledge to provide a quality service, and contributing to their professional growth. My previous experience spans quality oversight, principal and adviser supervision, and business development, and I remain committed to contributing to the success and continued growth of The Penny Group.
